The Ocean Card

Hi!  Heidi here with a card inspired by the ocean, after my short trip to the coast to see family.  I just love going to the ocean.  The clean air and calm quiet atmosphere.  It's so relaxing.  I need about a week or more there to unwind.  I wish we could.  But work and life sometimes gets in the way.  So I thought I would make a card that I can send to a friend and share a bit of that feeling of calmness to them.  I just love the Just For Fun Lighthouse Rubber Stamp, so what better use than an ocean themed card!
I also used the sand dollar stamp in the back ground.  It was a bit hard to see in the photo, so I hope you can see it.  I would use a white stamp next time to make them show up more.
Hope you get to enjoy the ocean at some time too!

Hope you have smooth sailing this weekend!

Here is a list of supplies used:
Just For Fun Rubber Stamps- F2303 Lighthouse & A081 Sand Dollar
Versa Mark Ink Pad
Memento Ink Pad in Tuxedo Black (note I would use my Ranger Archival Ink Pad next time as the ink wont smear when I use my water colors on it.)
Tag with Saying on it from some scraps I had ( you could type out a saying and glue it down instead)
Neocolor II Water Soluble Wax Pastels in:
Lemon Yellow, Emerald Green, Scarlet, Brown and Light Grey
Glue, Double Sided Tape and Foam Mounting Tape
Stickles Glitter Glue in: Star Dust and Golden Rod.

Hugs,
Heidi
